THE “RAMDHAANI HUFFAAZ” ADVICE

E-mail Print PDF

THE DEPLORABLE STATE OF THE “RAMDHAANI HUFFAAZ” ADVICE AND WARNING

Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:

“The Bearer of the Qur’aan is the Standard Bearer of Islam.”

There are two kinds of Qur’aan Bearers—The Ulama and the Huffaaz. The Amaanat (Trust) of the Qur’aanic Text has been assigned to the Huffaaz. It is their obligation to zealously guard this Divine Text. But, today most of the huffaaz are treacherous abusers of this Amaanat. Besides the extreme deficiency of their Hifz, their moral condition is absolutely putrid and deplorable. Their character displays nothing of the Qur’aan.

When a Haafiz would visit Hadhrat Masihullah (Rahmatullah alayh), Hadhrat would ask: “Are you a Ramdhaani haafiz or a Haafizul Qur’aan?” Most of the huffaaz who lead Taraaweeh Salaat in the various Musaajid are Ramdhaani Huffaaz. They are not Haafizul Qur’aan.

TO VOTE OR NOT

HARAAM VOTING – HARAAM POLITICS

TO VOTE OR NOT TO VOTE?

QUESTION

Is it permissible for Muslims to vote in the elections? What does our Shariah say regarding this issue?

ANSWER

Elections and voting have become topical subjects for Muslims. The concern shown for voting and participation in the elections stems from great deficiency of Imaan. Even the molvis and sheikhs have lost their Islamic bearings. All are drifting rudderless in a quagmire of confusion, nafsaaniyat and shaitaaniyat on this issue.

SA’D, THE DEVIATE TABLIGHI

THE HARAAM SHENANIGANS OF SA’D, THE DEVIATE TABLIGHI

A Brother who is a regular Musalli at the Musjid in the Nizaamuddin Musjid, the former Tabligh Jamaat markaz, narrating his experiences regarding the deviation and shenanigans of Sa’d who has usurped the leadership of the Tabligh Jamaat, writes:

AsSalaamu Alayqum

Al-Hamdulillãh, by the grace of Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala a few months ago I had  the  opportunity to move to  Delhi.  I live 5 minutes, away by walking distance to Nizaamuddin Markaz.

Whenever I came for Salaah to the Musjid, I have heard the Hadith of how meritorious and rewarding it is to be in the first saff and that too very close to the Imam. I, like hundreds who come there to attain the Barakat of this once soulful place (i.e. a place of roohaaniyat and piety – The Majlis), come an hour early so that we can be in the first saff just as the Sahaabah would do. But there is now a different scenario at the Nizaamuddin Musjid.

NASEEHAT FOR IMAAMS

The Sahaabi, Hadhrat Uthmaan Bin Abil Aas (Radhiyallahu anhu) narrated that when Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) sent him to be the Imaam of Banu Thaqeef, the last naseehat (advice) of Nabi (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) was:

“O Uthmaan! Shorten the Salaat. Gauge people (the Muqtadis) on the basis of their weak ones because among them are the old, the young,  the weak and those in need.”

THE WORDING OF DUA

There are two kinds of Dua: General and Specific. General is a dua which is not related to any specific need. A Specific dua relates to a particular need. Regarding general dua, the best form is the wording mentioned in the Qur’aan and Sunnah. There is considerable barkat in the Ma’thoor (Masnoon) Duas. On the other hand, as far as particular / specific needs of the hour are concerned, one should make dua in one’s own language whether Urdu, Arabic, English, etc.
