OUR ANNOUNCEMENT – NO ONE IS UNDER OBLIGATION TO ACCEPT

While the Mujlisul Ulama of S.A. has accepted the  sighting  in Grobblershoop and announced  that Eid will be on Friday 31st July, 2020, we  do clarify that no one is under Shar’i obligation to accept our determination and announcement.

BOGUS uucsa’s SPURIOUS CONTENTIONS – A RED HERRING DIVERSION

In a statement issued by the Cross-Worshipper, Munaafiq Reverend Abraham Bham in the name of bogus ‘uucsa’, spurious claims have been advanced as a red herring for diverting the focus of the community from the haraam kufr shenanigans perpetrated by bogus uucsa on the Musaajid issue.

The actual response for these Munaafiqs is quite brief. Since they are not Muslims, their word is not valid in matters of the Shariah. The Reverend being a Munaafiq has no right to voice himself on the Shariah. Thus, whatever he says and disgorges is baseless and not valid. While this response is adequate to debunk the spurious claims he has made, we shall provide some elaboration for those who have been cast into confusion by the red herring deception of the Munaafiq Reverend.

EID IN NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES

A brother writes:

“The sighting of the moon was confirmed last night in Botswana, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe. However, here in South Africa, there is a dispute. While the Mujlisul Ulama has declared that today is 1st Zul Hijjah, the liberal ulama have not accepted. Thus, there will be Eid on Friday and Saturday in South Africa. Please comment on this confusion.

EIDUL ADHA SALAAT

GUIDANCE FOR THE FOLLOWERS OF THE HAQQ

Question

Since there will be Eid on different days in South Africa, what should I do? I follow the Ulama-e-Haq of The Majlisul Ulama. However, I live in a town where most of the community follows the NNB jamiat (the so-called Jamiatul Ulama S.A.). What should the handful of us do regarding Eid Salaat? In our Musjid all the Covid protocols propagated by the NNB jamiat are observed.  The few of us perform our daily Fardh and Jumuah at a friend’s home.

Answer

Do the very same with Eid Salaat. Like Jumuah Salaat, perform it at the friend’s home. Do not join the haraam congregation in their mock ‘salaat’.

THE WORDING OF DUA

There are two kinds of Dua: General and Specific. General is a dua which is not related to any specific need. A Specific dua relates to a particular need. Regarding general dua, the best form is the wording mentioned in the Qur’aan and Sunnah. There is considerable barkat in the Ma’thoor (Masnoon) Duas. On the other hand, as far as particular / specific needs of the hour are concerned, one should make dua in one’s own language whether Urdu, Arabic, English, etc.
