MEAT PRODUCTS OF ALL NON MUSLIM ENTERPRISES ARE HARAAM CARRION
A Brother writes:
I recently discovered that Shoprite Lenasia is selling meat in the store as Halaal.
When doing an inquiry about their Halaal certification, they acknowledged that they have no certification; however they said I can visit the store and I will find certification from suppliers. On Friday 19 July I gave the store a surprise visit this was my discoveries:
1. There was no certification from any authority or suppliers?
2. The meat market is right next to the deli; in the deli was numerous haram products.
3. The wors, that is Shoprite branded wors, contains mixes meat, such as beef, mutton, oxtail as well as yeast and other spice.
4. There was a number of pre-packed meat products and some indicated that it was specially packed for Shoprite/ Checkers store with the head office address.
I have taken up the matter 10 days ago with NIHT (Moulana Abdulah) and SANHA (Moulana Ridwaan). NIHT indicates that they will investigate and they would get back to me on the subject. I made a follow up with them on Wednesday and they committed to respond. To date no response was given.
SANHA indicated that there is not much they can do as there is no Halaal notices in the store, and therefore cant issue a Notice of Caution to Muslim Community of lenz.
Please advice on the Shoprite issue.
SANHA’S CLAIM IS BUNKUM.
Meat products sold by non-Muslim business houses are HARAAM irrespective of any ‘halaal’ certificate granted to them by the SANHA-MJC-NIHT-ICSA cartel of carrion halaalizers.
