Eid on different days –

Creating unnecessary confusion and agitation

Eid on different days has been a valid practice in the Ummah since the inception of Islam, and there never existed the unnecessary confusion, acrimony and stupidity which deviates, modernists and miscreants of this era are kicking up to secure their baseless objective of  a universal Eid – Eid on the same day all over the world.

This year in Saudi Arabia and its  bootlicking states, Eidul Adha was on Saturday, 4th October. In South Africa and many other countries Eid is today, Sunday 5th October. In India, Pakistan and  Bangladesh Eid will be tomorrow, Monday 6th October.

These differences do not initiate any problem for the Ummah. It casts no aspersion on the hallucinated 'unity' of an Ummah which is already torn to shreds by fisq, fujoor, bid'ah and kufr. On the assumption that this Ummah as it exists today has mounted the loftiest pedestal of  piety and unity, then too, Eid on different days would not cause even the slightest kink in its unity. Just as Salaat at different times does not adversely affect the unity of the Ummah, similarly, Eid on different days does not affect the unity of the Ummah. Furthermore, an Ummah which is appallingly disunited and fragmented, cutting at the throats of one another and stabbing treacherously at the hearts of one another, cannever be united by submitting to Saudi hegemony thereby celebrating Eid on the same day.  Unity in the wake of celebrating Eid  on the same day, is an hallucination of  people who lack intelligence, and who lack understanding of the Shariah. Unity is the consequence of complete submission to the Shariah and adoption of the Sunnah.

In the wake of  Obedience to Allah Ta'ala, comes unity. Confirming this fact, the Qur'aan Majeed declares:

"It is He (Allah) Who has aided you (O Muhammad!) with His help  and with the Mu'mineen. And, it is He Who has created mutual  love in  their hearts (the hearts of the Mu'mineen). If you had to spend whatever there is on earth (all of its wealth), you will not be able to create mutual  love in their hearts. But, it is Allah Who creates  love amongst them. Verily, He is Mighty and Wise." (Al-Anfaal, Aayat 62)

Unity is not the product of stupidities nor the consequence of  hallucinatory prescriptions and remedies conjectured by  the unqualified, moronic self-appointed reformists of the Ummah. The Unity commanded by Allah Ta'ala is interwoven with the "Rope of Allah", i.e., the Shariah. The Qur'aan Majeed states in this regard: "Hold on firmly to the Rope of Allah, and do not split up."

A confused Brother writes:  "Today (Friday 3rd October) is the day of Arafah in Saudi Arabia for the whole Ummah of our Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and with that, Insha-Allah, tomorrow (Saturday 4th) is Eidul Adha. But in South Africa it is Eid on Sunday. Please, may you give me some reasons why it is this way?"

Friday 3rd October was  the 'day of  Arafah' for  only the Hujjaaj, not for the "whole" Ummah. Eid in the whole world was not on Saturday 4th October as the Brother has wrongly concluded. In many countries Eid is today, Sunday 5th while in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, and perhaps other countries too, Eid will be tomorrow, Monday 6th October. The greater  segment of the Ummah is averse to submitting to Saudi hegemony. gam

The Shariah obliges us to establish the Islamic months in accordance with the commands of Allah Ta'ala as transmitted to the Ummah by Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). In terms of the teachings of Islam, the 9th of Zil Hajj for us is on Saturday, not Friday. We are required to fast (a Sunnat Fast) on the 9th Zil Hajj, i.e.  when it is the 9th for us, not when it is the 9th in Saudi Arabia.

Furthermore, the Saudi regime is absolutely corrupt, faasiq and faajir and extremely oppressive. It has no respect for the laws of the Shariah. It plots the Islamic months according to its whimsical desires and whatever political objectives it may have. Sighting the moon is not of any importance in Saudi Arabia. They go by their own calculations.

Eid for us is the 10th Zil Hajj, i.e. when it is the 10th in our country, not when it is the 10th in Saudi Arabia. Bootlicking states and communities submitting to Saudi hegemony do so for monetary objectives. In Gambia, the Old Guard of the population has rejected the Saudi decree. However, the bootlicking government in Gambia has issued a proclamation banning Eid on Sunday.  Those who dare to celebrate Eid on Sunday will be arrested. This is the effect of Saudi hegemony which is the consequence of  bootlicking the Saudi regime for monetary handouts.

Even here in South Africa we have  the miscreant bootlickers who have been desperately slogging to impose Saudi hegemony on the Muslim community.  Insha-Allah, in South Africa the bootlickers who also happen to be bootleggers, will not succeed. There  shall remain here the 'tiny' group mentioned by Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), who will remain steadfast on the Haqq and keep Eid on different days in accordance with the Shariah's  tenets of  determining the commencement of the Islamic months.

According to the Shariah, those agitating for a baatil unity are simply  blowing a lot of hot air "full of sound and fury signifying nothing". The chimera of a false unity which the bootlickers are dangling holds no appeal for  people of intelligence. For those who submit to the Shariah thereby refusing alien hegemony, the  Qur'aanic criterion is:

"Then We have established you on a Shariah regarding (all) affairs. Therefore follow it, and do not follow the vain desires who know not."
