Assalamu Alaikum

15 Rabiul Awwal 1435
17 January 2014

The Council of Ulema Eastern Cape, having fallen in the trap of one FRAUD, Molvi Yusuf Patel of Middelberg, has announced a Bid’ah Seerah programme to be conducted in Port Elizabeth in emulation of the Bareilwi Qabar Pujaaris (Grave-Worshippers). Feeling left behind in the enactment of Bid’ah, the new brand molvis are imitating the ‘seerah’ stunts which the Qabar Pujaaris enact during the month of Rabiul Awwal when they hypocritically celebrate the birthday of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) in merry making functions called melaad or moulood.

The liberal molvis, who include the Council of Ulema of Eastern Cape outfit, are also inclined to bid’ah. Whilst the Qabar Pujaaris call their Rabiul Awwal Bid’ah programme, ‘meelad/moulood’, the liberal molvis dub their Rabiul Awwal bid’ah programme, ‘seerah’ programme. Both brands are bid’ah and haraam.

It is necessary to inform the Muslim public that, Molvi Yusuf Patel of Middelberg is NOT the Secretary General of UUCSA. He and some other cranks are masquerading as UUCSA whilst in reality they are FRAUDS and DECEITS, hoodwinking Muslims to believe that they are UUCSA.

Our organization, THE UNITED ULAMA COUNCIL OF SOUTH AFRICA is legally registered as UUCSA. We reiterate that Molvi Yusuf Patel DOES NOT REPRESENT UUCSA. Both Molvi Yusuf Patel and the Council of Ulema Eastern Cape are perpetrating a criminal offence with their deception designed to mislead the Muslim community. Both these entities are fraudulently portraying the bogus ‘uucsa’ as the genuine UUCSA.

Should they continue with their fraud and deception, we shall have no option other than to lay criminal charges against them for impersonation, fraud and false masquerading as UUCSA when in reality they are not.

Muslims are also advised that the programme of the fraud, Molvi Yusuf Patel, organized by the inept, novice Ulema Council of Eastern Cape is haraam bid’ah.
