THE FAKE ‘ZAM ZAM’ SCANDAL
SAUDI CUSTOMS ARE COMPLICIT IN THIS MASSIVE FRAUD
Fake ‘zam zam’ water has been imported and sold in South Africa on a big scale for years. Muslims have been deceived by men who suffer from a garguantan appetite for money. They proclaim themselves to be Muslims, but they suffer not a tinge of conscience over the ‘holy fraud’ they have been perpetrating. In their predatory design for money, they use the Deen – Makkah Mukarramah and Zam Zam – to capitalize on the gullibility of Muslims who eagerly seek Zam Zam water, especially in Ramadhaan. Thus, these scoundrels imported plain water fraudulently with the aid of the Saudi customs.
Tens of thousands of 5 litre bottles of fake ‘zam zam’ have been imported in South Africa and sold at exorbitant prices – R500 per bottle. It is supposed to be Zam Zam, hence no one complains.
A company in Jeddah, Abdullah Bamousa Foodstuff Company, exported four containers of fake ‘zam zam’ water to South Africa. The importer in South Africa is Elhakim of Johannesburg. This person’s or company’s further particulars appear in the attached documents.
The four containers containing 21,600 cartons of fake ‘zam zam’ water were shipped from King Abdullah Port to Durban.
The waybill states: ROSE WATER. It is unlawful to export Zam Zam from Saudi Arabia, hence the crooks stated ‘rose water’. The conundrum, however, is: How did four containers with 21,600 5 litre bottles of supposed Rose Water pass by the noses of the Custom officials in Jeddah?
Firstly, there are no roses in Saudi Arabia. There is no rose-water manufacturer in Saudi Arabia. Secondly, and of greater significance, is that all the bottles of fake ‘zam zam’ are clearly labelled and packed in almost identical form as the official water and packing of the Saudi kufr authorities.
The Custom officials were supposed to have opened the containers and check the contents. If they had done so, they would have realized that not a single carton is labelled ‘Rose Water’, and that the entire load of 21,600 bottles were clearly packed as Zam Zam. So how did these four containers of fake ‘rose water’ and fake ‘zam zam’ ever slip pass the custom officials in Jeddah?
These containers did not slip pass the corrupt officials. They were in cahoots with the corrupt exporter. Huge bribes must have been paid for passing the containers with its haraam contents.
To this day the Saudi embassy in South Africa has adopted silence despite them being informed of this fraud. The attached documents were sent to them. However, they have hitherto not commented.
The crime of these ‘zam zam’ crooks is worse than the scoundrels who import haraam pirate cigarettes on a massive scale. The ‘zam zam’ scoundrels are perpetrating their fraud in the name of the Deen.
