WOOLWORTHS – COMMENTS OF OTHERS
On the issue of boycotting Woolworths for its flagrant support for the lgbtq, a Sister comments as follows:
“As salaam alaikum
I have read the recent article regarding the boycott of Woolworths. With due respect I would like to present a few reasons that many of us Muslims purchase food items from Woolworths.
They sell alot of organic fruits and groceries that other shops do not stock. I do not know of another brand of cheese that doesn’t contain harmful colourants and/or preservatives. We used to buy Tussers but they started adding preservatives. Our naturopath advised us to abstain from coloured cheeses as my children were getting very sick and had to be put off from all foods containing these harmful and mushtabah ingredients. Then the only place we can find such items will be Woolworths. Some health shops stock certain items, but the prices are beyond what we can comfortably manage. When we need cottage cheese, again Woolworths would be only store that manufacture without preservatives, plain yoghurt too only Woolworths will have. We have read all the labels of plenty of these items of different brands in other stores but none of them will be pure ie without added chemicals.
When all these stores brazenly advertise their kufr, and plenty of other major sins then everyone turns a blind eye to it. Why is it so? I’m seeing that most of the people that are now clamouring for a boycott of Woolworths are those Muslims who eat just about anything and have no concern regarding the ingredients of their foods. They eat just about every chocolate and sweets that the Majlis proclaim as haraam, they eat diseased broiler chickens and pacify themselves that it was slaughtered in the halaal manner, yet they care not of the disease causing nature of broilers themselves and they are comfortable feeding their children such foods. They buy foods from takeaways, as long as it has a ‘halaal’ status, they care not of the unclean nature of these foods prepared at the back of these dirty takeaways and the diseased broiler chickens that are used to prepare these foods, and most of us who are conscious of the ingredients of our foods are the ones that purchase from Woolworths.
It is time that these self-same Muslims who are forcing others and their families to boycott Woolworths, start producing halaal and tayyib groceries and organic fruits and vegetables, and also without raising their prices sky high, so we do not have to depend on the kuffaar for our groceries. Why are the Muslims so impotent that they cannot produce even chemical free vegetables and fruits on a large scale for us to benefit from. They send their sons to madressa become aalims, yet they feed them mushtabah and close to haraam foods. This ia a reason why many madressas churn out aalims who are not fit to be called moulanas or muftis.
Previously when a boycott was called for Woolworths and several other stores for their support of Israel, then The Majlis advised that there was no need to boycott them.
Most of the nations of before were destroyed because of their kufr and refusal to bring Imaan, yet no one calls for a boycott for the kufr of the owners of these stores.
Truly in my heart I find the lgbtq totally disgusting and I feel this is an azaab from Allah on the Muslims for their flagrant sins and fisq and fujoor that they so brazenly advertise and commit without any shame.
Why is Woolworths being singled out for boycott? What about all the others that support this evil:
Vodacom, how many muslims will stop using vodacom network
Pick n Pay
Dischem
Checkers
Makro
Mastercard and Visa card, how many Muslims are going to trash their cards and start using cash only
Kellogs, how many Muslims are going to stop eating the poison cereal this famous company manufactures
Tupperware
Coca Cola, Pepsi how many Muslims are going to stop drinking this poison
Google basically everyone is addicted to Google
Microsoft, who is going to stop using this.
Nike, Muslims wear this brand with pride and are proud to display the Nike logo on their jackets shoes etc.
Ford , etc., etc.
These are just some of the companies that are openly and brazenly supporting LGBTQ Pride month this June. It just doesn’t makes sense to boycott 1 and not the rest. Seems like certain Muslims have sinister motives for singling out 1 store, the store that produces the most organic chemical free vegetables fruits and grocery items.
