Please comment on the following political poster displayed at the Ijtima of the Raiwand group of the Tablighi Jamaat:
Should Muslims vote as the poster encourages?

Voting as the poster encourages is to vote for Taaghoot (Iblees/Shaitaan). There are no ‘trustworthy’ Muslim candidates. A trustworthy Muslims is a Mu’min who is the slave of Allah Ta’ala. He is not a servant of Taaghoot. Participation in kufr politics at any level is violently in conflict with the Shariah.
Men who project themselves as leaders and who crave for leadership positions are trapped in the web of Iblees. It comes in the Hadith:
“We do not appoint (as leaders) anyone who seeks leadership and who craves for it.”
Politicians, especially those who profess to be Muslims, are among the worst scoundrels, opportunists, and slaves of Iblees. They are bereft of principles and honesty. They change colour like chameleons. The boodle and aggrandizement are their primary goals.
The stupid poster states: “We are morally obliged to vote for our muslim brothers and sisters…” This is a mammoth LIE. Voting for Taaghoot and his system of government can never ever be a moral obligation on Muslims. On the contrary is HARAAM.
“The legalization of immoral laws” is firmly embedded in the constitution of Iblees. Everything of kufr law is immoral. The flowery terms employed to describe and adorn the kufr laws do not make these immoral laws moral. Every law in conflict with the Shariah is immoral and zulm (oppression).
A new shaitaani principle added to the six points of the Tabligh Jamaat, is to canvass for the law of Taaghoot. Since the objective of the Jamaat is no longer the Aakhirat, but is the dunya, it is now crawling disgracefully after all kinds of miscreants to gain support for their methodology, not for the Deen.
Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (Rahmatullah alayh) commenting on participation in kuffaar politics, said:
“This is the worldly kingdom (in fact, carrion according to our Nabi – Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) over which the so-called intelligentsia and their like-thinking molvis are struggling in confusion. They dwell in confusion and frustration, having forgotten the Aakhirat.
You are not being prohibited from worldly progress and acquisitions. However, in pursuit of the dunya remain within the bounds of the Ahkaam of the Shariah. Political power for which the prelude is demolition of the Ahkaam of the Shariah is never needed by Muslims. Such kingdom is not progress for Muslims. On the contrary it is a cause for great misfortune and calamity. If sultanate (kingdom/government/political power) is accompanied by corrupt objectives (in conflict with the Shariah) then may a thousand curses settle on it. This is the condition of the kingdoms of this era. Such sultanate is mabghoodh (on which is the Wrath of Allah Ta’ala) and mal–oon (on which is the curse of Allah Ta’ala). It is mardood (rejected and evil). Whatever makes one ghaafil (oblivious) of the remembrance of Allah Ta’ala and of the Ahkaam of the Shariah is mal-oon and mabghoodh.” (End of Hadhrat Thanvi’s comment)
Voting and participation in kuffaar politics in any way whatsoever, come with violent and flagrant clashes with the Shariah. Never is such participation permissible. Muslims should not be duped by the politicians who clumsily use some Islamic clichés to peddle their kufr political wares. For the Mu’mineen, Allah Ta’ala suffices:
“And, Allah is the Friend of the Muttaqeen.” (Qur’aan)
“O People of Imaan! If you follow the kuffaar, they will turn you on your heels (into kufr), then you will become of the losers. But, Allah is your Friend and He is the Best of friends.” (Qur’aan)
