HARAAM GHULU’ OF THE TABLIGH JAMAAT
Please comment on the bayaan of the Brunei Tabligh Jamaat group in Westville Jaamiah Musjid on Wednesday 9th October 2024, making tashkeel for the Camperdown Ijtima. The following was said:
“Ifwe do not take time off from our shops, jobs, etc. now to help with fikr for the Ijtema, we do not love Allah. If you are in your business at the time of the Ijtima then you do not love Allah.
Only 4 months in the path of Allah (SWT) will give us the understanding and sweetness of Deen. 40 days and 3 days are not enough. 40 days is nothing. You have to go for 4 months. Also if you don’t go out for 4 months then you do not have love for the deen of Allaah.
The speaker quoted the ayat from 10th parah stating: “Say if your father’s, your children, your wives… are more beloved to you than Allah SWT and striving in his path…….”.
After this ayat he said AllahSWT does not guide a sinning nation.
Also. Allah Ta’ala does not give hidaayat to a sinner.
Regarding the three Sahaba who failed to join the Tabuk expedition, they were boycotted for failing to go in the path of Allah SWT. Two of them were Badri sahaba. The Sahaba were not even permitted to make salaam to them. They were boycotted for failing to go out in the path of Allah. A person may commit adultery, theft, fornication and other related sins but this will not warrant the same treatment. We still have to make salaam to them and treat them normally. From here we can see the gravity of neglecting to strive in the path of Allah SWT.” (End of the bayaan)

What these miscreant Tablighis had disgorged is a sample of the typical ghulu’ of the Tabligh Jamaat – of both factions. Their roots are embedded in ghulu’. Such miscreant groups should not be permitted to give talks in the Musaajid. Whatever the jaahil had said is baatil, bid’ah and haraam ghulu’.
The Qur’aanic verses have been misinterpreted by the moron Tablighi speaker. There is absolutely no relationship between the cited Qur’aanic verses and abstention from participation in any of the programmes of the Tabligh Jamaat. It is such ghulu’ which is converting the Tabligh Jamaat into a deviated cult of baatil.
The trustees and Imaam of the Westville Musjid are in grievous error for having allowed the miscreant group the Musjid platform for promoting their bid’ah baatil. Tablighi groups of both factions should not be allowed to make tashkeel in the Musaajid nor should they be permitted to speak drivel and nonsense as the Brunei group has done.
