“The Majlis has handed over the moon sighting to Wifaq (i.e. Wifaaqul Ulama), and Wifaq does not have the resources, hence it has handed it over to UUCSA, and now we still are following the same UUCSA as before, but being deceived by Wifaq. Please clarify this issue for the correct understanding.
Answer
We are in some quandary regarding the clarification you are seeking. Yes, we were for some time involved in the moon issue to guide the community. However, we have withdrawn for cogent reasons. The primary reason for dissociating from involvement and making announcements on the Hilaal issue is that we had discerned streaks of ‘madness’ in those who are involved in moon controversies. The entire crowd of entities involved with the moon are suffering from the malady of junoon (madness), and their madness is the effect of ignoring the Shariah and acting in terms of the dictates of the nafs.
Ujub (vanity/self-esteem) – the desire for aggrandizement and to convey the stupid idea of being the representatives of the Muslim community of the country as the rubbish bogus uucsa clique of morons and zindeeqs crave and drunkenly proclaim, is the embedded disease in the brains and hearts of those who desire to be in the forefront of the moon saga.
In view of the moon madness disease from which the various participants are suffering, we deemed it proper and necessary to step aside to be “far from the madding crowd”.
As for Wifaqul Ulama, while we are not part of this body, we still believe that there is sufficient sanity to follow their moon pronouncements. If they have subjugated themselves to the bogus, fake, zindeeq uucsa entity, we are not aware, and we to not cherish the idea of probing their moon connection with the bogus entity, and the reason for this is that after withdrawing from the moon madness clique we have relieved ourselves from a tremendous Shar’i responsibility. We are at peace simply accepting the announcing of Wifaq. If they err by submitting to the bogus rubbish entity, they are responsible.
“Moon Madness” is a real sickness. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) instructed us to always recite the following dua when seeing the moon:
“O Allah! I seek refuge with You from the Sharr (evil/harm) of this Ghaasiq (Dark Object).”
Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) also instructed:
“Seek refuge with Allah from this object (moon), for verily it is ghaasiq when it disappears (into darkness or behind clouds).”
Despite the moon being white and shining, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) described it as ghaasiq (dark object), and its effect (athr) on the brains of morons as sharr (evil). This answers the perennial moon controversies being perpetuated over decades despite the existence of clear-cut, simple ruling of the Shariah. After Islam’s almost 15 hundred years existence, the moon mad people are still disputing about the moon.
The moon exercises a strong influence on even the tides of the sea. It is thus not at all surprising for the moon to exercise its athr of sharr on the brains of these miserable molvis and zindeeqs who clamour to be in the limelight of stupid publicity to soothe the inordinate dictates of their nafs dwelling in the sewer gutters of shaitaaniyat.
It is therefore best to stay FAR – VERY FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD OF MOON MAD CHARACTERS.
