Palestinians across Gaza and the occupied West Bank gathered around makeshift screens, packed into stadiums and poured into the streets to celebrate Spain’s World Cup victory.
The enthusiastic crowds cheered not only for the sporting triumph, but also in recognition of
the Spanish government’s ongoing support for Palestine.

‘EVERY SPORT OF THE MU’MIN IS HARAAM’
SAID RASULULLAH (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam)
Only Juhala of defective Imaan or Munaafiqeen or Kuffaar have the kufr audacity of celebrating an event which is a 100% Cocktail potion of aggravated fisq, fujoor, kufr and shirk. How is it ever possible for genuine Muslims, especially suffering Muslims, to celebrate, dance, prance and exhibit emotional insanity and baboonery for an event on which settles the La’nat and Ghadb of Allah Azza Wa jal every second?
What type of Imaan constrains Muslims to incline towards the haraam, immoral, filth, kufr shaitaani sporting activities of kuffaar? There is no kind of Imaan that can ever condone such RIJS. The attitude which the Palestinians have demonstrated and which innumerable Muslims all over the world share, is indicative of the hidden kufr lurking in their hearts.
Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) has severely condemned and banned even a single act of sport (lahw) – sport devoid of the massive paraphernalia of fisq, fujoor and kufr which are incumbently associated with professional kuffaar sport, especially with these ‘world cup’ Satanism. What should be inferred of our Nabi’s (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) attitude regarding the deluge of fisq, fujoor and kufr associated with the worldcup shaitaaniyat?
There is absolutely no need for the employment of Aql for Muslims to understand the shaitaani notoriety of this worldcup Satanism. It is an event which is haraam from A to Z. How is it ever possible for Muslims – genuine Muslims – to even express joy and happiness when a ‘friend’ indulges in such RIJS and emerges victorious – defeating his opponent in the perpetration of zina magnified manifold?
Spain supporting the Palestinian cause is absolutely no justification for Muslims to court the Wrath of Allah Ta’ala by expressing ‘happiness’ over the ‘friend’s indulgence and victory in immorality of the worst kind. Even if the event was devoid of all the major evils and acts of immorality which aggravate the sport, then too it will be haraam to express happiness and to congratulate the zina winner. But this worldcup Satanism is compounded with zina, music, liquor, drugs, intermingling of sexes, gambling, hooliganism, kufr and shirk, etc., etc., etc. Regarding all of these evils, immoralities and satanic diversions and indulgences, the Qur’aan Majeed states:
“From the people are those who purchase lahwal hadith to deviate (others) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, thereby making a mockery (the Path of Allah) a mockery. Indeed for them there is a disgraceful punishment.” (Luqmaan, Aayat 6)
When such people who commend and applaud the villains are proffered naseehat, they react arrogantly. With regard to such persons, the very next Aayat prohibiting sport and the like, states:
“When Our Aayaat (of Naseehat) are recited to them, they arrogantly (react) and turn away as if they have not heard (the naseehat and the law of Allah). (They react) as if there are corks in their ears. Give them the tidings of a painful punishment.”
(Luqmaan, Aayat 7)
According to the Sahaabah, the tafseer of lahwal hadith covers all acts of fisq and fujoor which are repulsive to Imaan. Every act perpetrated in the worldcup shaitaaniyat comes within the scope of these Qur’aanic aayaat. Hadhrat Hasan Basri (Rahmatullah alayh) said this this Aayat corroborates the prohibition of sport stated by Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam).
Hadhrat Abu Aamir (Radhiyallahu anhu) narrated: “Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: ‘There will certainly be in my Ummah such people who will make halaal zina, silk (for men), liquor and music.”
Muslims who express happiness over the zina victory of Spain come within the purview of this Hadith, and other Ahaadith and Qur’aanic Aayaat. While Aql is not an incumbent requisite for the comprehension of the Satanism and evil of the world cup rubbish and immorality, nevertheless Muslim supporters of the Satanism should search their hearts with sincerity. If they do, they will not fail to detect the shaitaan hidden in their hearts – the shaitaan who lures them into his snare.
A simple analogy will unravel the confusion of such Muslims who express joy and delight over the zina victory of Spain. The West also has what is called Miss World or Miss Universe competitions. The shaitaani objective is to select that ‘most beautiful’ prostitute. From the Islamic perspective we shall call the competition Miss Jahannam. Now if Spain as to win in a Miss Jahannam competition whereby one of its prostitutes is declared the ‘most beautiful’ shaitaanah in the world, will Muslim happiness be justified? Will expression of happiness by Muslims be justified and be meritorious on the basis of Spain’s support for the Palestinian cause? If any professed Muslim avers that ‘happiness’ will be valid and justified, if the Miss Jahannam title is awarded to Spain, the answer for him will be: “They are deaf, dumb and blind, thus they will not return (to the Path of Rectitude).” – Qur’aan. It shall also be said to such a ruined person: “Allah has sealed their hearts and their ears, and on their eyes is a veil (to blind them). And for them is a mammoth Athaab.” – Qur’aan. And, it shall also be said to him: “The physical eyes are not blind. But the hearts within the breasts (the spiritual vision) is blind.” – Qur’aan. O Muslims! Employ your Aql! Understand your folly! Maut is ever stalking you!
The attempt to justify such misplaced haraam happiness by analogizing it with Muslim happiness when Rome defeated Persia during the era of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam), is utterly baseless. That was a war. It was not a haraam, sporting event adorned with every sin and immorality one can imagine of. While sport, fisq and fujoor are prohibited by an abundance of explicit Qur’aan and Hadith Nusoos, there is no prohibition anywhere in the Shariah for supporting a party at war. Such support is dictated by valid factors. To compare the worldcup Satanism with the wars between two empires is indeed grossly baseless.
The time will yet dawn when people who indulge in the obnoxious immoralities associated with these worldcup shaitaani event will be disfigured by Allah Ta’ala. They will physically be transfigured into apes and pigs. Rasulullah has categorically made this prediction.
