QAARIS & QIRAA’T EXHIBITION
Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“Most of the Munaafiqeen (Hypocrites) of my Ummah are its Qaaris.”
Qaaris putting themselves on show and display at organized Qiraa’t exhibitions are Signs of Qiyaamah, which are on the increase. Most of these mercenary qaaris who darken countries with their evil presence and qiraa’t exhibition are Munaafiqeen according to Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayh wasallam). They travel around the world miserably selling the Qur’aan Majeed despicably for the jeefah (carrion) – the haraam boodle – of the world.
The villainy of these contemptible mercenary qaaris insatiably hankering after money are among the worst felons of this Ummah. The notoriety of their treacherous betrayal of the Qur’aan and Deen is fearfully illustrated in the Hadith. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“Seek the protection of Allah from the Pit of Grief (Jubbul Huzn).” (The Sahaabah) asked: ‘O Rasulullah! What is Jubbul Huzn?’ Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “It is a valley in Jahannam. Daily Jahannam seeks the protection of Allah 400 times from it (the intensity of its heat).” The Sahaabah asked: ‘O Rasulullah! Who will enter into it?’ Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “It has been prepared for the qaaris who exhibit their a’maal (deeds – their qiraa’t), and verily, the worst of the qaaris are those who visit the umaraa (the wealth/rulers).”
Jubbul Huzn (The Pit of Grief) has been created and being nurtured for these miserable, treacherous qaaris who trot around the world disgustingly peddling the Glorious Qur’aan for the carrion of the dunya to the juhala (ignoramuses) who constitute the audiences. Those who organize these evil qiraa’t exhibitions also reserve their abode in Jubbul Huzn.
These qiraa’t exhibitions and these munaafiq qaaris are Signs of Qiyaamah. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said that among these Signs is:
“Ilm will be acquired for purposes other than the Deen.”
These Munaafiqeen squandered their time learning Qiraa’t for the sole objective of haraam money. Allah Ta’ala warning them in the Qur’aan Majeed says: “Do not sell My Aayaat for a miserable price.”
Under guise of the Deen they pursue the dunya. With the Amal of the Deen (Qiraa’t of the Qur’aan), which is an Amal of the Akhirah, do they hanker after the jeefah of the dunya. In this regard, the Hadith mentioning the Signs of Qiyaamah, says: “The dunya will be acquired with the amal (deed) of the Aakhirah (such as ibaadat).” Narrating a Hadith pertaining to the Signs of Qiyaamah, Hadhrat Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood (Radhiyallahu anhu) said:
“What will be your condition when you will be enveloped by such a FITNAH which will make the elderly senile and make the young old. The people will regard the fitnah to be Sunnah. If anything from it (the fitnah) is omitted, they will say: ‘The Sunnah has been abandoned.”. The people asked:
“When will that be?” Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood (Radhiyallahu anhu) said:
“When your Ulama (of Haqq) have departed and your qaaris have become abundant….and when the dunya will be searched for with the amal of the Aakhirah and when knowledge (of the Deen) will be acquired for purposes other than the Deen.”
The materialization of this prediction is vividly witnessed in our current age. Both the Qaaris and evil molvis/sheikhs are conspicuous manifestations of these Signs of Qiyaamah mentioned by Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam).
It is haraam to organize qiraa’t concerts. It is haraam to invite these munaafiq/fussaaq qaaris. It is haraam to honour them. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“When a faasiq is honoured, the Arsh of Allah shudders.”
“He who praises a Bid’ati aids in the demolition of Islam.”
