THE ULAMA-E-HAQQ NEED TO BE HONEST – EXAMINE YOUR INTENTIONS
Ulama-e-Haqq should not take umbrage when Naseehat is offered by even laymen. The status of an Aalim is not a barrier to Naseehat. Even an old lady offered Naseehat to Ameerul Mu’mineen, Hadhrat Umar (Radhiyallahu anhu) whilst he was on the Mimabar delivering a Khutbah. He did not deem it amiss. He was not annoyed. On the contrary he commented: “Everyone has more knowledge than Umar, including the old lady.” That was because of his Ikhlaas. It was not humility feigned.
A sincere concerned Brother offers the following genuine Naseehat which the Ulama-e-Haqq should digest. They should honestly examine their hearts and endeavour to fathom their nafs. Understand well that the dividing line between Ikhlaas and Nafsaaniyat is fine.

The Majlis has just published an article on the Anti- Ml Saad Ulama. This issue was bothering me aswell. I was very surprised specifically at Wifaaqul Ulama of South Africa and the strong stance they took against Ml.Saad. The likes of Moulana Abdul Hameed, etc., were very strongly and openly using the name of MoulanaSaad in many many bayaans all over the country and also in articles.
The consequence of Moulana Saad’s statements or the motivation for MoulanaSaad was to lure people into the tabligh jamaat movement. However, in South Afrcia we have MoulanaBham, Mufti Menk, Ml Sulmain Moola, Ml Navlakhi and all their young ulama of their liberal jamiat who think and act like them. They have been committing serious crimes in the name of Deen for decades, far far worse than Ml. Saad. The damage they caused to the Deen in South Africa is horrible. They have legalized so much haram things like, food, TV, sports, intermingling on a wholesale scale, interfaith, wastage functions, etc, etc. The common bareheaded South African Mulsim with a beard, T-shirt and shorts are the products of these liberals. They are groomed to think this to be normal way of ‘deen’ and their kids will grow this way as well.
BUT, since the formation of Wifaaqul Ulama, we only hear them speaking in ambiguity. They use terms like, ‘some scholars’ or ‘some radio stations’ or çertain people’. They never found it necessary to call them out by name. Any jaahil layman who does not follow what is happening in South Africa won’t have a clue who and what they are talking about. But when it came to Ml.Saad its was made very clear.
Howcome they don’t see the damages the liberal SA Ulama caused as a reason enough to call them out harshly, but for Ml. Saad he got ripped apart on every platform?
It’s strange, internally we have wolves gnawing away at the Imaan of the masses in South Africa but we can’t call them out! Is it because most of the wolves are their students, friends and family perhaps? I just can’t figure out why the Wifaaqul Ulama till today can’t handle the liberals with the same whip they handled Ml Saad.
With this thought in my mind, I still know that they have done good work in our country and since covid the Wifaaq was a breath of fresh air for us. But they need to analyse their stance and handle all issues equally.”

OUR COMMENT
The issue – the cause for this glaringly insincere attitude – is lack of Khauf for Allah Ta’ala, hence actions are not the effects of Ikhlaas. Even ordinary persons, even ignorant ones, understood the motivation for the anti-Molvi Sa’d tirade. We hold no bias for him. In fact we have labelled him ‘Goonda (Thug).’ Nevertheless, be he a goonda, the Ulama who were vociferously attacking him, and so contrary to their policy, naming him, were doing so in the interests of their factionalism. It was the Raiwand Molvis versus the Nizaamuddin faction. Allah Ta’ala and the Deen were deleted from the Equation.
May Allah Ta’ala bestow to the Ulama Ikhklaas and genuine Khauf. Our advice for the Ulama is to engage regularly in Muraaqaba Maut and Qabr.
