AL MABROOR INVESTMENTS SET FOR AN AMAANAT HOLDINGS INVESTMENT DISASTER
Another hardship is unfolding for small-time investors who have purchased haraam shares from the haraam Al Mabroor Investment company. This company is on a course of collision with disaster Amaanat Holdings Investment style. We have been warning for years that it is not permissible to invest in any of these capitalist riba, baatil companies which deceive ignorant Muslims with their external façade of being Shariah-compliant, a stunt and falsehood given legitimacy by the evil Ibleesi so-called ‘shariah boards’ of maajin mercenary fake muftis whose objective is nothing but the boodle they can fleece from these haraam capitalist companies.
Small-time investors who are anxious to withdraw their investments are unable to even contact and communicate with the management of Al Mabroor. Their letters are ignored. They are not afforded even an acknowledgement by this miserable haraam company. We reproduce here some of the complaints received currently.

I may have missed it, but has the Al Mabroor debacle been addressed? (Amaanat was addressed).
1.There are many innocent unsophisticated individuals who have been swindled in the process.
2.The so-called Shariah Board appeared to fall short in several aspects.
One example of gross dereliction of duty, was asking investors to invest money for a fixed period of a year with a cap on the return at 15 % to purchase BeefcorAbbatoir – in my opinion, this was no different than making them operate as a bank loaning money on interest. (One example amongst others).
Should the members of the Shariah Board not be censured? And the public made aware of staying away from any investments overseen by them in the future?

Urgent Withdrawal issue with Al Mabroor Projects
RB <r***********s@****l.com>
Tue 28 Jan, 16:13
Assalamualaikum, respected Mufti/Moulana,
I need your help. I invested with Al Mabroor Projects, but I’ve been trying to withdraw my money since January last year without success. I’m an orphan, and this investment was part of my inheritance.
I’ve tried contacting Al Mabroor, but my calls and emails have been ignored. I’m worried about my money. I believe Mufti Shafique Jakhura, Maulana Bilal Jakhura, or Moulana Mogammad Carr, who are part of Al Mabroor’s Shariah committee, can help.
Unfortunately, my efforts to contact Al Mabroor Projects have been met with silence. Their broker, Qaseem Essack +27 72 616 6466, has been unresponsive to my emails. They’re too quick to take money but take so long to pay out the full withdrawal.
My intention was to use this money for Umrah and Hajj to earn rewards for my parents. Please assist me in resolving this matter. Jazakallahkhair.

No I don’t have any contact details of the molvis. However I did try contacting qaseemessack and I was told that his busy with another client… so it’s excuses upon excuses with the Al Mabroor team members!
Honestly beyond frustrating!
I’m pretty sure the directors are living a comfortable life with all investors money’s. Whilst some of us need to use these returns to save up for Umrah and Hajj.
Now that’s there has been issues since 2023 i heard their percentage returns are dropping so I decided to withdraw my capital and I have been waiting since 13th January 2024 for my money.
I’m sure qaseemessack, wiaan smith and team are still getting paid monthly a large amount of salary. I desperately need my funds paid out, I have obligation acts to fulfill.

Zakaat on Al Mabroor Investment

As salaamualaikumwarahmatullahiwabarakathu,
I have money invested with Al Mabroor and requested withdrawal in June 2024. Al Mabroor has not paid me since June 2024 citing cash flow as the issue. I usually pay my Zakaat in the last 10 days of Ramadan and I am now questioning whether the money with Al Mabroor which is not being paid out and which I do not have access to is eligible for Zakaat payment.
I sent this query to the Shariah Team of Al Mabroor but they have not responded.
Please urgently advise. Jazaakallah and salaams

“Latest news: Al Mabroor has 1 billion rand in withdrawal requests and that investors will get 60% if they withdraw now. Apparently the Malaysian investor deal fell through, so we have another Amaanat saga on its way for Al Mabroor.”
The predicted saga is merely the logical conclusion of a haraam company operating under Shar’i guise. Al Mabroor is a pure riba capitalist entity. All of these miserable so-called ‘islamic’ financial institutions are Riba outfits. But greed blinds people. Despite many of the investors being aware of the haraam status of Al Mabroor they plunged into the corrupt quagmire. Now the time for crying and lamenting is approaching Amaanat Holdings style.
Brace yourselves for total LOSS. Riba never brings prosperity.
