MURTAD REVEREND BHAM AND HIS BEDFELLOW MURTAD SHEIKH SANDWICH
Commenting on the villainy of Reverend Bham and his Jusa Cartel of money-bootlickers, embracing the Murtad Sheikh Sandwich, Mufti A.K.Hoosen issues the following statement:
RE: MR BHAM’S INVITATION ON BEHALF OF JUSA (16 April 2025 ~ 17 Shawwal 1446)
Just when you think Mr Bham cannot sink any lower, he finds a deeper sewer to wallow in. During his latest meanders, he found a fellow deviant who he describes as “one of today’s most influential Muslim voices in the West”, Mr Omar Suleiman, who will be touring South Africa for a handsome fee – another scholar for dollars.
Mr Suleiman is certainly influential but not in a positive way. In a 2023 article by Rifat Malik*, the writer comments on Suleiman’s trustworthiness after he flip-flopped:
“When celebrity Texas-based Islamic faith leader Sheikh Omar Suleiman posted a 30-minute mea culpa video in June [2023] recanting all his progressive activism relating to the LGBTQ community, he left liberal allies and progressive Muslims floundering in dismay. The video, released during Pride Month, has now racked up over half a million views and raises questions about the role of spiritual leaders in political activism.”
Indeed, several questions should be raised about so-called ‘spiritual leaders’ who are in need of guidance themselves, not only in politics but also in social interactions. Concerning the latter, Mr Suleiman has earned the title of ‘Imam Sandwich’ as he is frequently photographed ‘sandwiched’ between women when socialising, especially at interfaith events.
It should be obvious to anyone with a shred of Imaan that, fraternising with such misguided, deviant murtadeen is totally haraam and bereft of any benefit to Ulama and laymen alike.
As for JUSA, it is already disgraced due to its compromising attitude and its failure to uphold the Deen. Why still add the promotion of deviation and kufr to the list?
Many laymen still regard Mr Suleiman as a supporter of LGBTQ+ groups despite his latest statements.
In fact, he continues to espouse ‘tolerance’ regarding the issue. Who knows if he might change his mind again?
Surely, JUSA knows the stigma attached to him? Will people not consider JUSA to be endorsing his views? Every self-respecting Ulama body should distance itself from him and those who invited him.
Here we address Ml Abbas Ali Jeena, Ml Ayyoub Kachwi and Ml Ebrahim Pandor, specifically:
The urgent need of the hour is to dismiss, without delay, the rotten apples in your organisation before the rot spreads. The following individuals should be summarily dismissed for harming the Deen and bringing the Jamiat into disrepute:
Reverend Bham, Zaheer Raggie, Suliman Ravat, Muhammad Saeed Navlakhi and Yusuf Patel.
If they are allowed to remain, we will have to notify the public that it is haraam to contribute to the Jamiat, your so-called Darul Uloom, Radio Shaytaan and SANHA. And if, for whatever reason – legal or other – you cannot get rid of them, then it is compulsory for you to resign, as you will be betraying an Amaanat by staying.
We remind you that you will be called to account by Allahu Ta’ala. What answer will you give when you knew the facts but failed to act on them?
The public look up to their seniors and expect correct guidance. However, at your advanced age, you are plunging the Ummah into disgrace instead of helping them. We urge you to rectify the situation immediately.
AK Hoosen.
