BOGUS UUCSA’S TAHREEF OF THE QUR’AAN
Bogus UUCSA partnering with the Zanadaqah of SAMNET in support of the latter’s haraam ‘Mosque Open Day’ heritage-day celebration, proffered the following Qur’aanic Aayat to justify their participation in the haraam heritage-day celebrations:
“Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is (rightly) guided.”
Firstly, the Qur’aan has been revealed for the guidance of mankind. The Aayaat of the Qur’aan Majeed should be proffered only for calling to the Deen – for Da’wat, Tableegh and Naseehat. This is the only purpose for which the Qur’aan may be cited. The Aayaat of the Qur’aan may not be misused as do these Zanaadaqah of UUCSA and SAMNET.
Instead of presenting the Qur’aan for guidance and for rejecting kufr and shirk, the miscreant Zanaadaqah have committed the kufr of misusing the Aayat to justify their participation in a kuffaar celebration. Such participation is haraam. It is not permissible for Muslims to participate in the functions and celebrations of non-Muslims be these of a religious or non-religious form.
Secondly, the ‘wisdom’ and ‘good instruction’ mentioned in the Aayat preclude the social niceties, smiles, hand shaking, and general merrymaking which are integral activities of kuffaar celebrations. Such socialization which is a fundamental etiquette of non-Muslim celebrations and which etiquette the bootlicking Zanadaqah religiously adopt, in entirety precludes Da’wat. It is not possible to present the Message of Tauheed by means of socializing and fraternizing.
Participation in the celebrations as did the Zanaadaqah constrains the commission of other Shar’i violations such as intermingling of sexes and haraam photography, Zina of the eyes, zina of the ears, zina of the tongue and zina of the mind and heart.
The ‘wisdom’ and ‘good instruction’ commanded in the Qur’aan mean the proclamation of the Haqq in an unadulterated form, without any bootlicking. It means that the kuffaar have to be incumbently informed that:
- Their deities and gods are all false
- The only True Deity is Allah Azza Wa Jal
- Islam is the only true religion
- All other religions are false
- Islam is the sole repository of Salvation in the Hereafter
- The consequence of rejection of Islamic Tauheed is everlasting damnation in Jahannam
- Trinity is shirk and false
- etc., etc.
The ‘wisdom’ and ‘good instruction’ do not tolerate any ambiguity in Da’wat and adulteration of the Ahkaam as do these Zanaadaqah practice with their bootlicking heritage-day celebration and other similar merrymaking shaitaani functions.
It is the Qur’aan which commands the adoption of ‘wisdom’ and ‘good instruction’ when calling the kuffaar to Islam. Whose methodology could be superior to the way of Da’wat of the Ambiya in general and of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) in particular? For fear of being excoriated, not even these munaafiq zanaadaqah will venture to say that there could be a better methodology than that of the Ambiya (Alayhimus salaam).
The first in line to adopt the ‘wisdom’ and ‘good instruction’ commanded in the Qur’aan were the Ambiya (Alayhimus salaam). How did they interact with non-Muslims regarding Da’wat and Tabligh? Did they resort to any ambiguous method – any bootlicking – any socializing and fraternizing? Let us now see what the Qur’aan Majeed says regarding the methodology of ‘wisdom’ and ‘good instruction’ of the Ambiya (Alayhimus salaam).
THE WISDOM AND GOOD INSTRUCTION OF THE AMBIYAA
“Remember when he (Ibraaheem) said to his father: ‘O my father! Why do you worship something which does not hear nor see nor benefit you in anything whatsoever?
O my father! Verily there has come to me such knowledge which has not come to you. Therefore, follow me. I shall guide you to the Straight Path.
O my Father! Do not worship Shaitaan. Verily shaitaan unto Ar-Rahmaan was disobedient.
O my father! I fear that the Punishment from Ar-Rahmaan will befall you, then you will become the friend of shaitaan.” (Maryam, Aayaat 42, 43, 44 and 45)
“Verily, you (O Mushrikeen!) and the entities you worship are fuel for Jahannam.” (Al-Ambiya, Aayat 98)
“Ibraaheem said to his father and his people: ‘What do you worship?’ They said: ‘We worship idols… He (Ibraaheem) said: ‘Do they hear you when you call or do they benefit you or harm you?’ They said: ‘We found our forefathers doing so.’ He said: ‘Now see (that is open your ears and hear) that which you and you forbearers worship, verily they are my enemies…” (Ash-Shu’raa’, Aayaat 70 – 77)
“Verily for you there is a beautiful pattern in Ibraaheem and in those with him. Remember when he said to his people: ‘Verily, we dissociate from you (mushrikeen) and from the (idols) you worship besides Allah. We have rejected you, and animosity and hatred have developed between us and you for all time until you believe in Allah, The One… (Al-Mumtahinah, Aayat 4)
“Say (O Muhammad!): ‘O Ahl-e-Kitaab (Yahood and Nasaara)! Come to (an agreement) on a matter which is common between us and you (namely) that we worship only Allah, and that we do not commit shirk with Him in anything, and that some of us should not take others as deities besides Allah.’ Then if they turn away, say: ‘Bear witness that verily we are Muslimoon’.” (Aal Imraan, Aayat 64)
And, how did Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) interact with the Mushrikeen when he presented Tauheed to them? The kuffaar had tried a variety of ruses as a compromise for ‘coexistence’ and ‘harmony’, but Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) had rejected every conciliatory proposal of the mushrikeen. ‘Harmonious coexistence’ based on kufr and shirk was unequivocally rejected by Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam).
The ‘wisdom’ and ‘good instruction’ commanded by Allah Ta’ala constrained Hadhrat Ibraaheem (Alayhis salaam) to say to the mushrikeen:
‘Now see (that is open your ears and hear) that which you and you forbearers worship, verily they are my enemies…”
‘Verily, we dissociate from you (mushrikeen) and from the (idols) you worship besides Allah. We have rejected you, animosity and hatred have developed between us and you for all time until you believe in Allah, The One…
This is the meaning of the Aayat: “Call to the Path of your Rabb with wisdom and beautiful advice and argue with them with them in a way which is best.” (Am-Nahl, Aayat 125)
The Hikmat and Mauizah Hasanah mentioned in this Qur’aanic aayat do not mean participation in non-Muslim functions and celebrations. It does not mean adopting silence regarding their false deities and false ideologies. It does not mean bootlicking.
