OBSCENITY AND IMMORALITY OF CHANNEL SHAITAAN
LEGAL ACTION CONTEMPLATED AGAINST CHANNEL SHAITAAN AND THE FAAHISHAH WOMEN
Since Channel Shaitaan has refused to discontinue its lewd, disgustingly obscene haraam fuhsh porno-programme in which two faahishah females participate, The Society For The Protection of Our Constitution has resolved to institute legal action against the radio station and the two women who are corrupting the morals of Muslims with the connivance of Channel Shaitaan. The following are two letters of Warning sent to the management of the radio station and to Zahida Khotu who has paraded herself on the airwaves as a medical doctor.

Find attached a letter sent to Zahida Khotu.
Your actions in providing a forum to Ms Khotu to mislead members of the public as described in the annexed letter, makes you complicit with Ms Khotu in her unlawful conduct.
You are called upon to immediately stop the offensive broadcast, failing which we may have this issue referred to the Muslim Mediation & Arbitration Council for adjudication.
Please revert as to your attitude to the said letter, failing which we will include you in the legal steps to be taken against Zahida Khotu.

Dear Madam
Re : SOCIETY FOR THE PROTECTION OF OUR CONSTITUTION / YOURSELF
We act for the Society for the Protection of our Constitution.
Our instructions are that your conduct explained hereunder is in breach of the provisions of Section 27(1) of Act 108 of 1996 i.e the Constitution.
We have established that you are not a medical doctor, nor are you a member of the Health Professions Council. You have not taken the Hippocratic Oath and your conduct is not overseen by any Disciplinary Body. You are however subject to the jurisdiction of the vanguard of the Bill of Rights contained in the South African Constitution. This vanguard is the High Court.
Our instructions are that with a complete sense of impunity, over the airways of Channel Islam, you parade to members of the public to be a qualified medical doctor.
Not only do you dispense advice on a very specialized field of sexual health, but you also prescribe lotions and potions you allege will cure the listeners’ problems. Your advice is given without knowing a listeners medical history, without consulting with the listeners nor do you follow up with them to establish their well being.
Your conduct is in flagrant disregard to the rules of the Health Professions Council relating to dispensing medical advice indirectly over tv channels, radio, Internet or email. The Health Professions Council have issued guidelines requiring a practitioner to have an indepth knowledge of the person he is advising, consider confidentiality issues, have a full knowledge of a patient’s medical history, establish a dialogue, secure patients consent, conduct follow up assessments and consultations. You do not even attempt to safeguard listeners in any of these ways.
You repeatedly over the air, resort to using words that are lewd and unsavoury, especially to a Muslim audience. Your talks centre around inter alia oral sex, masturbation, private parts of men and women, ways to secure sexual climax and other lewd issues.
Channel Islam is labelled an Islamic radio station having a Muslim ethos. “Haya” is a branch of Imaan. Haya is shame and modesty. Lack of modesty is an indication of lack of Imaan. In the Kitaabs of Shariah such as Beheshti Zewer, which have been written specifically for females, the female teacher who teaches these Kitabs is instructed not to teach the girls certain intimate masaa-il (rules) pertaining to sexual issues. When they become of an appropriate age, they will study such rules of their own accord.
Our instructions are that, having learnt that a host of listeners find your show obscene, you now tell the listeners that they must put off their radios if they do not want to listen. This is the same reason that ETV used to broadcast pornography on national television!
You are hereby afforded the opportunity of immediately stopping the aforementioned offending conduct, failing which our instructions are to take the necessary legal steps against you. Having regard to the fact that falsely parading to be a medical doctor may attract a criminal sanction meriting imprisonment, you are alerted to serious consider your stance.
We await your response hereto by close of business on Tuesday, 29 September 2015.
