OUR HUNGER PROJECT
Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“Give Sadqah to people of all religions.”
A direct, fully anticipated consequence of the lockdown, is large-scale HUNGER which has now resulted in looting in several places of the countries, especially Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
To alleviate the HUNGER of the suffering poor even in small measure, we as well as some other brothers, have initiated feeding schemes to provide some relief for the hunger-stricken people.
Please contribute generously towards this Project and gain thawaab and the Pleasure of Allah Ta’ala. For this project do not send Zakaat. There are innumerable members of our community basking and swimming in wealth. Zakaat has a specific avenue for distribution and discharge. The situation prevailing among the poverty-stricken teeming millions demands that we assist munificently in this endeavor to provide some relief. Whilst our effort is a drop in the bucket, we can do only what Allah Ta’ala prescribes for us by ways of means.
