GIFT OF THE GIVERS
RESPONSE TO A MURTAD
On accepting a donation from the Hindu community, Mr.Solomon of the Gift of the Givers, commented:
“The donation is a stark reminder that the bonds of humanity transcend religion, belief and geographical boundaries.”
It is a shaitaani canard to believe that the ‘bonds of humanity transcend religion and belief’. Allah Ta’ala created us and sent us into this world for only one objective, and that is to submit to His Religion – the Deen of Islam. Nothing transcends this Deen and the Belief of Islam.
Declaring this Truth, Nabi Ibraahim (Alayhis salaam) said to his community:
“Indeed We (Muslims) are free from you and from that which you worship. We reject you. Enmity and hatred have surfaced between us and you forever as long as you do not believe in the One Allah.” (Al-Mumtahinah, Aayat 4)
Deen transcends everything. Family ties even with parents are severed on the basis of Imaan. While aiding distressed people of other religions is permissible and meritorious, such aid does not transcend our Deen. Imaan and kufr have their respective consequences and limits. The prescribed limits may not be transgressed when aiding kuffaar. All actions and deeds for Muslims are within the strict bounds of the Shariah.
It is only for a murtad that worldly considerations transcend religion and belief. To us Muslims, the very essence of life is Deen – religion and belief. Accepting donations and distributing aid in conflict with the protocols of the Shariah are haraam. The very first demand for a Muslim is to ensure that his every act is in submission to the Divine Shariah of Allah Ta’ala.
The need for this clarification stems from the fact that Mr.Solomon is known to be a Muslim, hence his kufr activities pose a confusion for the ignorant and unwary. According to the Shariah, Mr.Solomon is not a Muslim even if he may have been one once upon a time.
