SAHUC AND THE R48 MILLION OF THE HUJJAAJ
Brother Abu Bakr Ravat who is tackling the shayaateen of SAHUC says:
“As-salaamu alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhu
Many are aware of SAHUC’s blatant dishonesty regarding pilgrims’ registration fees.
A brief recap:
In 2025, SAHUC’s Head of Mission for Hajj, Mr Ismail Kholvadia stated, on record, that SAHUC had amassed R48 million from pilgrims’ fees.
Since SAHUC never had any legal mandate to act on behalf of South African hujjaaj, it means that these fees were obtained illegally, under false pretences.
SAHUC is, therefore, legally obliged to repay the money.
We are, currently, finalising legal procedures to ensure that SAHUC is compelled to do so, without further delay.
In order to proceed, we require R160 000 for legal services:
R60 000 urgently and R100 000 by Friday 9th October.
Even if you haven’t been affected personally, remember that this is not only about refunds, it’s primarily about holding people accountable for exploiting Muslims and using Islam to make money.
Successful legal action will serve as a deterrent to others who consider Muslims to be easy prey.
We will accept any amount of Lillah or Esaale Thawaab.
