THE INSINCERE STANCE OF THE ANTI-MOLVI SA’D ULAMA
A Brother justifiably piqued by the silence of the anti-Molvi Sa’d group of Ulama – silence regarding the deviate Tariq Jameel – comments as follows:
“Something is really bothering me. I really feel pain and uneasy about the fact that when Ml Saad came to South Africa, many were ready to put down signatures and openly write a letter against it. Alhamdulillah we also did so. Here we are with MTJ (Maulana Tariq Jameel) few days from stepping foot on SA soil and absolutely nothing apart from few on an individual basis.
Is there any justification for this silence? I cannot understand this. Taariq Jameel is a far bigger threat and an open Shia agent amongst his vices. I was very much with unity of so many Ulamaa in all of a sudden adopting Nahi Anil Munkar regarding Ml Saad when he came. However it was short lived as now I really can see what Mufti Saheb says, it is the fight of two factions.
We have seen Tablighi elders and other seniors who generally say do not name and shame and stay away from the Majlis approach, when Ml Saad came, they were all of a sudden in full support of the Majlis and even doing Nahi Anil Munkar which the TablighJamaat generally advises to stay away from. (In fact they prohibit Nahyi anil Munkar – The Majlis)
Mufti Saheb, I would really appreciate if this can be publicly addressed. Questions and eyebrows are raised even to the Darul Ulooms who supposed to be at the forefront of this as was with the exclusive case of Ml Saad.
A Mufti Saheb on whom we had great trust previously, was asked a long time ago if we could go to M Tariq Jameel’s talk said, “go and take the good and leave the bad”. However with Ml Saad the signature was down hard and firm. I can see now, it wasn’t Nahi Anil Munkar but rather it was Nahi for one individual. (It was pure nafsaaniyat – The Majlis)
Definitely we do not stand for Ml Saad’s Kufri statements nor do we stand for Ml Taariq Jameel’s collection of Kufr
Mufti Saheb please advise me if I am wrong or need islaah for myself in asking these questions.” (End of the Brother’s letter)
Comment
You are not wrong. Your dilemma is valid. The motivation for their criticism of Molvi Sa’d who is a deviate, was not Ikhlaas. It was not a deeni motive. It was the hostility of the two opposing factions which had induced the open attacks against Molvi Sa’d.
Undoubtedly, Tariq Jameel is a greater danger for the Deen than Molvi Sa’d. But those who had ganged up against Molvi Sa’d are today ominously and disgustingly silent. They have their nafsaani style ‘hikmat’ for justifying their satanic silence. Nahi Anil Munkar in regard to Tariq Jameel has no validity for them. The intention is not to gain the Ridha of Allah Ta’ala, hence their selective acquittal in their Nahi Anil Munkar tirade directed against Molvi Sa’d.
When the Objective is not Ridha-Ilaahi, then the nafs and shaitaan are in control. Nafsaaniyat is then portrayed deceptively with deeni hues to convey the idea that the acquittal is Amr Bil Ma’roof Nahyi Anil Munkar. The conduct of the Ulama is cause for immense grief. But then, we are in close proximity to Qiyaamah and the predictions of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) have to materialize.
Alas! Today, even Ulama who believe that they are sincere have become Mudhilleen. They mislead the masses under deeni cover.
