AMAANAT HOLDINGS AND AL MABROOR
ZAKAAT IS NOT PAID ON FICTITIOUS SHARES
PULLING WOOL OVER THE EYES OF JUHALA
Many shareholders of Amaanat Investment Holdings and Al Mabroor Company have written to enquire about their Zakaat obligation on their shares in these two unfortunate, miserable riba companies.
Zakaat is paid on real wealth which is Zakaat taxable. Such wealth consists of gold, silver and stock-in-trade.
Capitalist company shares are not real wealth on which Zakaat is payable. In a financially stable company, such shares are RIBA shares. In corpses such as Amaanat and Al Mabroor, the shares are fiction.
The day the cash boodle gets into the possession of investors, it will become Zakaatable if the cash still remains with them when their Zakaat year expires. But currently, there is no Zakaat payable on the fiction which the moron molvis of Amaanat and Al Mabroor are at paints to portray as real wealth.
