DEVIATION AND KUFR
Questions
Kindly answer the following questions:
(1) Dr. Anwar Jeewa and Muhammad Variawa hosted a program on Ansar Radio with a group of modern ladies encouraging women to go to Masajid, a few weeks ago.
Variawa’s daughter is married to a non-muslim. They had 2 marriage ceremonies – a Muslim one and a non-Muslim one. Is she and her father Muslims or not? It was on TV as well.
Answer
(a) The hosting of the programme on Radio Ansaarush Shaitaan was obviously haraam. The entire group of males and females who had participated in the haraam kufr programme are fussaaq and fujjaar. Their fisq and fujoor are compounded and aggravated with their shaitaani attempt to scuttle an Ijmaa’i Hukm of the Shariah, namely the prohibition of women attending the Musaajid. Women emerging from the precincts of their homes to participate in activities in the public domain are in flagrant violation of the Qur’aan, Sunnah and Ijma’ of the Ummah.
(b) Marriage with a non-Muslim is simply not valid. The kuffaar marriage ceremony effaced the Imaan of the participants. As such they are no longer Muslims. If they desire to return to the fold of Islam, they have to resort to Taubah and they have to renew their Imaan as well as have afresh Nikah performed.
Question 2: Arafat Hatia, a Molvi made Halaalah. Can people read salaat behind him?
When he is dismissed from work or he resigns, he goes to CCMA to collect money. Is this permitted?
Answer
Those who engage in the process of Halaalah have been cursed by Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Our Nabi (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) invoked the La’nat (Curse) of Allah Ta’ala on both the one who engages in Halaalah, and the one for whom it is arranged. Both participants are Mal-oon, Fussaaq and Fujjaar of the worst order.
It is Haraam for Muslims to seek the aid of the CCMA for usurping the wealth of their former employers. An employer, according to the Shariah is entitled to dismiss his employee even without reason. The money awarded by the CCMA is haraam. It is the ingestion of the Fire of Jahannam by the usurper.
It is haraam to appoint a faasiq to lead any Salaat. It is a kabeerah sin to appoint him. If the Salaat is Taraaweeh, then it is better to perform behind a pious Imaam even if he recites from Surah Feel. It is haraam to honour the faasiq with Imaamate.
