AASHURA GREETINGS – A NEW STUPID BID’AH
A NEW SILLY BID’AH WHICH HAS DEVELOPED IN THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY OF THESE TIMES IS THE STUPIDITY OF SENDING FUTILE, OSTENTATIOUS GREETINGS SUCH AS EID GREETINGS, AASHURA GREETINGS. IN FACT SOME MORONS WHO HAPPEN TO BE MUSLIMS SEND EVEN DEEWALI GREETINGS.
These people who have innovated the silly practice which is the effect of emulation of westernism, have much time to squander in futility, hence they project their ego with acts of riya (show/ostentation).
Such emulation of kuffaar ways is not permissible. There is no basis in Islam for such nonsensical greetings in which they use the Name of Allah Ta’ala and the Ambiya (Alayhimus salaam).
They should utilize their ‘free’ time constructively by devoting it to Thikrulaah. When a person indulges in futility, then shaitaan becomes his close companion.
