BOOTLICKING ‘SCHOLARS’ ON THE PALESTINE BANDWAGON
By Maulana Imran Admani of UK
Speaking out against those evil acts which everyone considers evil is not a great triumph. When doing the right thing is easy, standing up for it is no real challenge. Standing up against oppression that everyone is standing against, is not a sign of integrity, firmness of Imaan, belief and good morality.
When the fear of Allah is in people, they will stand up and voice themselves upon the truth and speak out against the evils, even when those evils are accepted as the norms of society. A person who stands for morality will stand up and speak out regardless of the backlash, regardless of being branded as a person of hate and jealousy, and regardless of the danger of being attacked and hurt. A person who is upon the teachings of Islam will speak out against all evils, haraam practices, and fitnahs, regardless of who is peddling and promoting those misdeeds.
Don’t think that all these people who are now standing up for Palestine are people who are brave or love their deen. Don’t think that they are people of integrity, morality, and who have love for Islam. Don’t be deceived, the majority are only doing what is easy. They have merely clambered aboard the Palestine bandwagon for ulterior motives. They are following the crowd, just as they have been doing for the last few decades. These very people have been eating the scraps left by the west, trying to please them and promoting their agendas and today they want to convince you that they are on the side of deen by standing up and voicing themselves for Palestine.
Where were they all these years when people were changing the teachings of deen? Where were they when Islam was being attacked by evil scholars and preachers? Why were they silent when free mixing became acceptable? Why were they silent when interfaith became the norm?
Just look at UK as an example. It was once a place of Islamic integrity. If something was haraam, there was no compromise. Now everything has changed. This is also an oppression. When we go against Islam, we are oppressing ourselves. We are oppressing all those we deceive and misguide. How come all these scholars in UK who are standing up for Palestine, have been silent and are still silent against these other oppressions happening in the name of deen?
In the UK Muftis attend mixed events and claim it is part of Islam. They have mixed mosque awards, where imaams are given trophies like they are some Hollywood actors. In the UK the imaam visits the church and the priest visits the musjid to show ‘unity’. In the UK if you don’t attend a certain Alim’s talks you are considered an outcast to that masjid, as if you are a heretic. In the UK the masaajid are divided. In the UK the Muslim Ummah is utterly broken and disunited.
All these Ulama and Muslims in UK are ready to stand up and speak out for Palestine, why are they silent on these other issues and fitnahs facing the ummah? Ready to do what is easy yet scared to stand up for what is difficult and bitter. Palestine is thousands of miles away, they are ready with their insincere, mock opposition to the oppression there, but for the fitnah and oppression in their own homes they are silent like mice.
There is not a single influential scholar openly voicing himself against the fitnahs happening in UK. So many ulama in UK.! So many darul ulooms, yet Islam is under attack and they are all sitting silently. The fitnahs are happening because of the silence of the caretakers of deen. Their silence has left a void being filled by those who want to follow their desires over the teachings of Islam.
This is the same situation in so many countries all over the world. Don’t let these people fool you with their hollow and insincere concern for Islam.
So let us not be fooled by the majority of those voicing themselves against the oppression in Palestine. If they cared for Islam they would be speaking out against many of the fitnahs facing the ummah.
May Allah guide the ummah and preserve our Imaan.
